Dr. Kirsten Maier, PhD

A relational and Jungian psychotherapist, Kirsten listens to life experiences for how they inform living a conscious life. She brings a nuanced understanding of human experience, empathy and collaborative energy to her work. Over the last 24 years, she has worked particularly with Creatives, people in the Tech industry, C suite executives, therapists and healthcare workers, ex-pats and new immigrants, people from First Nations communities, and people in life transitions.

Beyond a Doctorate in Psychology at the University of British Columbia, Kirsten teaches at the University level and leads workshops for many different communities. Kirsten specializes in depth & transpersonal psychology, trauma work, Internal Family Systems, couples work, dreamwork and spirituality. She specializes in the psychological assessment of seminary students and clergy. She enjoys supervising therapists in training. Before choosing to relocate to California, Kirsten lived and practiced in Canada and Germany. She describes her years of clinical work as a rich experience and looks forward to where your work together will take you.​

Dr. Ming Wang, PsyD

Ming has broad experience in providing therapy and coaching. She is exceptionally warm and insightful in her work with people. Her orientation is in depth psychology using expressive arts, somatic therapy, mindfulness, ACT, and EFT among other modalities. She specializes in personal growth and trauma therapy. She works with children, adults, couples and leads groups for mothers of young children.

Ming completed her Doctorate at the Wright Institute. Her professional and volunteer work includes a deep interest in multicultural issues of belonging. She worked at several VA Medical centers in the Bay Area with veterans. Ming was involved with NewPath Virtual Reality development and lead Dinners in the Dark in San Francisco. She interned at the Stanford Cognitive and Systems Neuroscience Laboratory. Her professional interests include complex PTSD, romantic dyads and healing from moral injury.

Dr. Berne Fitzpatrick, PhD

California Licensed Psychologist #32551, AGPA Certified Group Psychotherapist (CGP) (he/him)

 

Berne has a very relational approach informed by who he is as a person and his training in Internal Family System (IFS Parts Work) and Jungian Psychology. With this background, he treats a range of issues including stress, anxiety, depression, anger issues, relationship conflict, job and relationship dissatisfaction, and specific issues men face. Berne takes satisfaction when his clients accept their own complexity and uniqueness and have successful outcomes in their lives due to therapy.

​

Working with adults of all genders in individual therapy, Berne uses a supportive, accepting style, helping you accept yourself and learn practical relationship and communication skills. Trained in IFS through Level 2, he offers IFS sessions as part of his work.  As a certified group therapist, he leads training groups, weekly men's groups in both SF and Berkeley and will leading a mixed gender IFS therapy group starting in September of 2025.
